About ACS Enterprise

ACS Enterprise started in 2019 with a straightforward premise: West Texas property owners dealing with water damage, fire loss, or mold deserved a restoration contractor who would show up prepared, communicate clearly, and do the technical work correctly. Midland was, and still is, home base, and the surrounding Permian Basin region shapes everything from the jobs we take to the way we think about property damage in a high-desert climate.

What we do

Most days, this work means arriving at a property where something has already gone wrong, a supply line failed overnight, smoke has settled into drywall and ductwork, or a slow roof leak finally made itself visible as a ceiling stain with mold behind it. The homeowner or property manager on the other side of that call is not having a routine day. What they need is someone who can assess the actual scope of the damage quickly, explain what remediation looks like in plain language, and start the process without unnecessary delay.

A significant part of what we handle involves insurance claims. That means documenting moisture readings, photographing affected materials, and producing the kind of scope-of-loss records that carriers expect, so the claim moves forward rather than stalling over missing documentation. We work with property owners through that process rather than leaving them to navigate the paperwork alone.

Our certifications and licensure

The restoration industry has a well-established set of technical standards, and the credentials a company holds tell you something real about how they approach the work. We’ll be straightforward here: the certifications we carry are listed on our service pages as they apply to specific work types. What those credentials represent, in general terms, is worth understanding.

IICRC certification, from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification, means a technician has been trained to the standards that govern how water damage is classified, how drying systems are deployed, and how a job is documented. The IICRC S500 standard for water damage, for example, is what separates a proper structural dry-out from simply running fans and hoping for the best. EPA Lead-Safe certification is a federal requirement for renovation and remediation work in homes built before 1978, not optional, and not something a contractor can self-certify. When those credentials apply to the work we’re doing, we bring them.

Where we work

Midland is our home market, and we serve the broader Permian Basin region, including Odessa, Andrews, Big Spring, and the communities in between. This part of West Texas has its own set of property realities: caliche soil that drains poorly after heavy rain events, a housing stock that spans mid-century slab construction through newer builds, and the kind of extreme temperature swings that stress plumbing and roofing systems in ways that aren’t always obvious until something fails. We know the area because we work in it, and that matters when we’re making decisions about how a specific property should be dried, cleaned, or rebuilt.
